Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Tailor position based in the Riyadh Region. The selected candidate will be responsible for taking accurate measurements, cutting fabric, and stitching garments to the required specifications so that the final fit and finish meet quality expectations. The role also includes alterations, repairs, pattern adjustments, material selection, and maintaining an orderly work area. In addition, the tailor will speak with customers to understand their requirements, assist with fittings, and ensure completed garments are delivered on time. The position involves coordination with other team members on special orders while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Measure customers precisely to ensure garments are made or altered to the correct fit.
• Cut fabric and sew clothing according to patterns and provided specifications.
• Carry out alterations, repairs, and sizing adjustments across different garment types.
• Choose suitable fabrics, threads, and trims based on the job requirements.
• Maintain neat finishing standards and pay close attention to craftsmanship details.
• Discuss customer needs, support fitting sessions, and make required refinements.
• Coordinate with colleagues on custom and special orders when needed.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and aligned with safety and quality practices.
• Complete assignments within agreed timeframes and manage multiple orders effectively.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in tailoring, including measurement, pattern cutting, sewing, and garment assembly.
• Practical knowledge of clothing alterations, repairs, and fit modifications for a variety of garments.
• Ability to work with different fabrics, threads, and decorative or functional trims while maintaining good finishing quality.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills for handling requirements and fitting discussions.
• Comfort with basic measurements, numbers, and following garment specifications accurately.
• Good planning and time management skills to juggle several orders and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Riyadh Region and collaborate as part of a team.
• Prior work as a tailor or in a similar garment-production setting; vocational training or certification in tailoring or fashion design is considered an added advantage.
