Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Structural Inspector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on checking and overseeing structural activities on construction sites to ensure that all work is carried out safely, accurately, and according to the approved construction approach.
You will be responsible for monitoring reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, and other structural components, while confirming that the work matches project requirements, approved drawings, quality expectations, and applicable local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will review and oversee structural construction activities, coordinate with contractors and site teams, and help maintain quality and safety across the project.
Qualifications and Technical Background
The role calls for a civil or structural engineering background, along with several years of hands-on structural inspection and site supervision experience in construction or engineering consultancy environments.
Candidates should be comfortable working with structural codes, inspection documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and quality control processes.
Additional Requirements
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities are important for this position. The role also requires careful attention to detail and a solid focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
Tools and Language Skills
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection/reporting tools is expected. English proficiency is required for both written and spoken communication, while Arabic is considered an added advantage.
