Bullfinch is a boutique marketing agency that’s growing quickly and helps brands reach their goals through straightforward strategy and strong ideas. The team is now looking for a proactive Social Creative who can help shape the agency’s content output while working closely with the Managing Director and Account Director.

This position is offered as a six-month fixed-term contract to begin with, and there is an intention to convert it into a permanent role for the right candidate. The job is based in Dublin or elsewhere in Ireland with a hybrid working setup.

Role overview

In this hands-on role, you will turn ideas into engaging social content that audiences actually want to watch. The work will range from filming live events and creating campaign edits to developing ideas for clients and capturing content on location across Ireland.

The ideal person is naturally curious, highly creative, and eager to make things happen. You should enjoy spotting trends early, contributing ideas confidently, and producing high-quality content in a fast-moving agency environment. Because of the nature of production work, travel will be needed, and occasional evening, weekend, or public holiday work may also be required depending on shoots and client events.

Creative responsibilities

• Generate ideas for always-on content and social-led campaigns.
• Take part in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops.
• Keep up with social platform changes, creator trends, and emerging content styles.
• Contribute to Bullfinch’s own marketing and content activity.

Content creation responsibilities

• Record photo and video content using smartphones, cameras, and production gear.
• Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Write captions and social copy that feel native to each platform.
• Produce basic graphics and visual assets when needed.

Campaign delivery responsibilities

• Help plan and schedule content across client accounts.
• Work with the Account Director to ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
• Track content performance and identify ways to improve results.
• Support paid social creative tasks where needed.

Production responsibilities

• Support commercial productions and campaign shoots.
• Help with shoot planning and logistics.
• Travel to client sites across Ireland for content capture.

Experience and skills

There is no single background that defines the right candidate for this job. Bullfinch is open to applicants from agencies, in-house teams, freelance backgrounds, or creators building their own audience. The most important thing is the quality of your work and the strength of your portfolio.

The role calls for someone who can demonstrate strong social-first content, solid editing ability, confident filming skills, and a clear passion for internet culture and creative work. A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and a full driving licence are also important.
