About the Role
Classic Programmers is a software development company focused on delivering web, mobile, AI, SaaS, and custom software solutions to clients around the world. The team is hiring a results-oriented bid specialist to handle proposal outreach across multiple Upwork profiles and help turn opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Role Summary
In this position, you will track promising projects, craft tailored proposals, communicate professionally with prospects, and work closely with the internal team to support deal conversion. A solid grasp of software development is a strong advantage because it helps with clearer client communication and more accurate proposal positioning.
Core Duties
- Oversee bidding activity across several Upwork accounts.
- Spot projects that closely match the company’s service offerings.
- Prepare persuasive, personalized proposals for each lead.
- Review client needs and suggest suitable technical approaches.
- Start conversations with potential clients and reply quickly to inquiries.
- Arrange meetings between qualified leads and the technical team.
- Keep the opportunity pipeline active with regular follow-ups.
- Work with project managers and developers to estimate projects accurately.
- Track market movement, competitors, and new opportunities on the platform.
- Maintain strong profile health, response speed, and client satisfaction.
- Document proposals submitted, responses received, interviews held, and deals converted.
- Continuously refine bidding methods to improve win rates.
Requirements
- Prior experience bidding for software development services on Upwork.
- Strong written English and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clear, convincing proposals with careful attention to detail.
- Skill in understanding client needs and translating them into compelling pitches.
- Experience managing more than one Upwork profile at the same time.
- Good negotiation skills and confident client interaction.
- Self-driven approach suited to remote work.
- Strong organization and time management abilities.
- Comfort working against targets and KPIs.
- Technical familiarity with software development will be preferred.
Compensation
The monthly salary is PKR 25,000 to PKR 50,000, depending on experience and performance. In addition, the role includes performance-linked incentives and bonuses tied to project wins and revenue generation.
Working Hours and Expectations
The standard workday is 8 hours. The preferred shift runs from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM PKT, although some flexibility can be offered based on performance and coordination with the team. This is a remote role, but monthly visits to the Lahore office are required for team meetings and planning. Performance will be measured against KPIs covering proposal quality, activity, interviews, and conversions. Time tracking and periodic screenshot monitoring are used during working hours to maintain transparency and productivity.
