Role Overview

Srinivasan Associates Private Limited is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for its Kochi, Kerala office. The role is focused on measurement, estimating, tender support, and cost control for construction projects.

What You’ll Do

Prepare accurate quantities and measurements from drawings using NRM methods.
Support tendering activities, including estimating and BOQ development.
Contribute to cost management and reporting across project stages.
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract quantities and scope details.
Work with estimating and measurement tools to build reliable project pricing outputs.
Handle multiple tender deadlines while coordinating independently as needed.

Required Background

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field is required.
You should bring at least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management.
Hands-on exposure to tendering, estimating, and BOQ preparation is essential.
A solid grasp of NRM and measurement principles is expected.
You must be able to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings confidently.
AutoCAD proficiency is required.
Advanced English communication skills are necessary.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office is needed.

Preferred Experience

Experience with UK, Ireland, Middle East, or other international construction projects is an added advantage.
Familiarity with CostX, Buildsoft, Bluebeam, or similar estimating platforms is highly desirable.
Exposure to NRM1, NRM2, and detailed measurement work will be beneficial.
Experience in procurement and subcontract package tendering is preferred.
Background in cost planning, value engineering, and cost reporting is useful.
Exposure to educational, commercial, residential, or public sector projects is an advantage.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi, Kerala, India.
