Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site role in Doha for a Program Manager supporting DEEP Qatar. The position is set to begin in August or September 2026 and involves 40 hours per week. The role is central to delivering DEEP Qatar’s local initiatives and the three flagship programs: DEEP Academy, DEEP Pioneers, and CDL Doha. It is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role in year one, requiring strong initiative in a new market without an established local playbook.
What you will do
You will ensure that cohort weeks, venture sessions, and mentor meetings run smoothly on the ground in Doha. You will also help build DEEP Qatar’s local visibility through digital channels and in-person ecosystem engagement.
Program delivery
- Lead local end-to-end delivery for cohort sessions across DEEP Academy, DEEP Pioneers, and CDL Doha.
- Coordinate scheduling, venues, logistics, catering, and travel for participants, mentors, and faculty.
- Manage faculty, speakers, and practitioners, including onboarding, attendance, briefings, and onsite support.
- Act as the main contact for participants during cohort weeks.
- Ensure delivery aligns with CDL global standards while adapting execution to the local context.
- Handle project-level budget tracking across the programs and report spending into the broader Qatar budget managed by the Operations Lead.
- Manage incoming queries and requests.
Berlin coordination
- Work closely with the Berlin Program Operations team, led by the Head of Operations, to keep activities aligned across the DEEP network.
- Support Berlin-led activities involving Qatar and assist with Berlin support for Qatar-led cohorts, especially during the first year.
Venture Manager support
- Provide logistical support to Venture Managers across program verticals.
- Help coordinate venture visits, founder sessions, and ecosystem connections in Qatar.
- Support applications and onboarding for candidates and ventures entering the programs.
Ecosystem days and gatherings
- Oversee operational delivery of DEEP Qatar’s ecosystem days and related gatherings.
- Manage logistics, venues, speakers, attendee handling, and day-of execution with the Director, Operations Lead, and Venture Managers.
Brand and local presence
- Support DEEP Qatar’s growth in the local ecosystem through social media such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Create content that can be used in Berlin’s central channels.
- Coordinate with the Berlin team to maintain brand consistency and execution.
- Represent DEEP Qatar at ecosystem events, demo days, and other gatherings alongside the Director.
Vendor and supplier management
- Manage local suppliers and vendors needed for delivery, including venues, catering, AV, travel, and accommodation.
- Build a dependable supplier network in Doha from the ground up.
Participant data and reporting
- Track participant data, attendance, feedback, and core program KPIs.
- Prepare regular delivery updates for the Director and colleagues in Berlin.
What you bring
You should be a strong program operator who values precise execution and can manage multiple initiatives at once. The role suits someone who has worked in fast-paced program or event environments and can stay composed during demanding cohort periods. You should be entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable building processes in a new market while maintaining high standards.
Required profile
- 4 to 6 years of experience in program delivery.
- Proven ability to run several programs or events at the same time to a high standard.
- Background in an accelerator, university executive education, professional services, or events setting.
- Currently based in Qatar or elsewhere in the wider GCC, or willing to relocate to Doha.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined organization.
Preferred background
- Experience based in the GCC or familiarity with the region.
- Exposure to startup, accelerator, or university ecosystems.
