Role Overview
DuPont is hiring a Raw Material Scheduler to support its manufacturing site in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for ensuring that raw materials are planned, purchased, and available in the right quantities and at the right time to keep production running smoothly while controlling overall inventory cost.
The position calls for strong organization, communication, scheduling, and planning abilities, along with solid Microsoft Office skills, SAP/APO knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse and logistics processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and buy raw materials using demand forecasts and actual consumption, while accounting for existing inventory and transit lead times.
- Review and handle exception orders using SAP, APO, and related tools such as Excel, then communicate any changes to the manufacturing and logistics teams.
- Coordinate with supply chain planners and production schedulers to ensure material availability does not disrupt the production plan or customer commitments.
- Track raw material movements and resolve logistics issues to maintain a steady flow of materials into the facility.
- Take part in production planning discussions to confirm inventory levels are sufficient to support scheduled output.
- Determine raw material requirements and send regular forecasts to suppliers.
- Log quality complaints and support CAPA activities related to raw material service and quality concerns.
- Provide data and input for annual tender processes.
- Support supply chain design initiatives and projects.
- Assist with annual inventory counts.
- Serve as backup for the KSA Planner/Scheduler during vacations to maintain the site production schedule.
- Serve as backup for the Regional Customer/Logistics Specialist during leave periods, including handling permits, authorizations, and representation at relevant ministries.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using SAP/APO and Power BI.
- Working knowledge of English.
- Prior purchasing experience is preferred.
- Experience in a chemical plant production environment or maintenance setting is an advantage, though not mandatory.
