About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Planner to join the maintenance team and report to the Electrical Superintendent. The role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance for key site assets so performance and availability targets are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, sequence, and track maintenance activities for Tier 1 assets, including two 2570 draglines, three rope shovels, and related site infrastructure, with the aim of meeting and surpassing availability targets.
• Create practical maintenance plans and support managers, superintendents, and supervisors in putting those plans into action.
• Apply appropriate risk management practices when preparing maintenance work.
• Ensure equipment and plant are maintained and repaired in line with production requirements, targeted availability, and statutory obligations.
• Contribute to maintenance strategies and budget planning for the equipment.

About You

The successful candidate will bring a trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical or Engineering, along with practical maintenance planning experience in a similar environment.

Additional Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Project.
• Experience working with plant and mobile equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems, including SAP.
• Previous experience in a comparable mining equipment or plant maintenance role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
• A proactive approach to improving procedures and processes to lift performance, safety, job satisfaction, and productivity.
