Reliable Forklift Sales, a distributor focused on machinery and equipment, is hiring a Live Chat Support professional in Atlanta, Georgia. The company works with forklift and material-handling sales, rentals, and service, supporting customers across a wide range of industries throughout North America. This position is the first touchpoint for online visitors and plays an important role in delivering quick, accurate help and a positive customer experience.
What you will do
- Handle customer conversations on the live chat channel in a courteous and professional way.
- Reply quickly to questions about products, sales options, rentals, and service offerings.
- Share correct information about forklifts and related material-handling equipment.
- Support customers with simple troubleshooting and direct them to practical solutions.
- Pass more complex issues to the right internal team for follow-up.
- Keep thorough and accurate notes of each interaction in the CRM.
- Work toward key targets such as fast response times and strong customer satisfaction.
- Build solid knowledge of the company’s products and services so customer support stays effective.
What we are looking for
- Previous customer service experience is required, and hands-on live chat support experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong written English skills, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Fast and accurate typing ability.
- Good analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Comfort using computers, support tools, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to juggle multiple chat threads at once while maintaining quality.
- A customer-first approach and a genuine interest in helping people.
- Experience in, or interest in, industrial equipment or machinery is a plus.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this role is USD 18 to USD 23 per hour. You’ll also have access to training on products, services, and internal systems, along with the chance to grow professionally within a supportive team environment.
