Role overview
Capco is hiring a Junior Full-Stack Developer for a 6-month contract to support a major financial services client. The work centers on vulnerability remediation across important applications and platforms, with a focus on strengthening security and helping teams prepare, execute, and verify patching activities tied to Mythos-related vulnerabilities.
This position blends practical full-stack engineering with coordination across development, testing, DevOps, troubleshooting, and production support. You will partner with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to help drive timely remediation results.
What you will do
- Contribute to vulnerability remediation work across critical applications and platforms.
- Support the preparation, implementation, and validation of patching activities.
- Work hands-on across development, testing, DevOps, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, security stakeholders, and business partners to keep remediation work moving.
- Help translate business needs into technical requirements through direct conversations with stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile delivery and support deployment pipeline activities, including code deployment and testing.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience working with Angular, Java Spring, and React.
- Background in OpenShift-based cloud web development.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to gather requirements from business teams.
- Practical experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Awareness of deployment pipelines, including code release and testing steps.
- Basic understanding of integration and backend development.
- Experience in financial services, banking, capital markets, or payments is a strong plus.
- Exposure to vulnerability management platforms, security scanning tools, or secure software development practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
