About the Role

As a host at Olive Garden, you are the first person guests meet and the last person they remember. Your role is to create a friendly, organized, and comfortable dining experience from arrival to departure.

You will help maintain a clean and safe environment by regularly sanitizing guest and team contact points. You will also support smooth seating, guide guests to their tables, provide clean menus, and make helpful suggestions that improve the overall visit.

In this position, you will round off each guest interaction by thanking them sincerely, wishing them well, and inviting them to return. The restaurant places strong emphasis on health, safety, and sanitation, along with a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
• Coordinate guest flow, seating order, and table turnover.
• Handle opening and closing setup tasks accurately.
• Answer incoming calls politely and assist with guest questions.
• Maintain and manage the waitlist while engaging with guests.
• Send guests off with a courteous farewell.
• Thank guests for their visit and encourage them to return.
