An established architectural practice is hiring a Graduate Architectural Technologist to become part of its growing Birmingham team. The firm works across residential, commercial, and industrial projects and offers an opportunity to build experience in a broad practice environment.

Salary range: GBP25,000 to GBP30,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Create technical architectural drawings based on planning layouts
• Contribute architectural design support to residential and commercial schemes
• Prepare detailed design documentation
• Complete and file building regulation and planning submissions

Skills and Experience

• A degree in Architectural Technology
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Experience after qualification in a related position is helpful but not mandatory
• Capability with standard industry tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Solid detailing and design capability
• Good technical understanding with close attention to detail
• Ability to perform well both independently and as part of a team
• Must live within commuting distance of the Birmingham area
