Role overview
Swissport is seeking a full-time Dispatch Agent (Operations) to support aircraft turnaround and cargo dispatch activities at Dublin Airport. The role involves coordinating shipment movement, preparing essential operational documents, and helping ensure flights depart safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Working hours and contract
This is a permanent full-time position with a 37.5-hour work week. Shifts are scheduled across Monday to Sunday and may include rotating shift patterns.
Compensation
The pay rate for this role is 16.99 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare flight-related paperwork and operational documents such as flight plans, load sheets, and fuel information for crew use.
- Share accurate fuel and load details with flight crew and load control while following safety and operational rules.
- Work with ground staff, flight operations teams, and airport authorities to confirm that aircraft loading meets required specifications.
- Manage priorities effectively to help aircraft move efficiently from arrival through to departure.
- Safely operate aerobridges and stand guidance systems to support boarding and disembarkation.
- Drive airside vehicles, including cars, vans, and minibuses, in line with airport rules and safety procedures.
- Carry out aircraft weight and balance checks where needed to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
Requirements
- Experience in aircraft ground handling, ramp operations, or a closely related aviation role is preferred.
- Working knowledge of aircraft loading processes, weight and balance calculations, and aviation safety requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Good organisational ability and the confidence to prioritise work in a busy operational setting.
- Availability for varied shifts, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays, depending on operational needs.
- A valid full European manual driving licence and the ability to drive airside in accordance with airport regulations.
