About the role
Hirewell is looking for a self-starting and ambitious Construction Recruiter to join its expanding team. This is a fully commission-based opportunity created for people who want uncapped earning potential and the freedom to develop their own client and candidate network.
The role centers on hiring strong talent across commercial, industrial, data center, multifamily, and residential construction. A steady pipeline of active searches will be available, and performance will depend on how well you build relationships, execute searches, and close placements.
This position is best suited to someone who enjoys a quick-moving, results-oriented environment and is energized by independence, impact, and income upside.
Key accountabilities
- Handle the full recruiting cycle, including sourcing, screening, qualifying, and placing candidates across several construction segments.
- Work closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver strong talent matches.
- Grow and sustain a broad nationwide network of construction professionals.
- Reach out to candidates, assess fit, and manage ongoing relationships with quality talent.
- Run multiple live searches at the same time with speed and attention to detail.
- Track market movements, compensation patterns, and competitor activity to stay informed.
- Help generate revenue through successful placements and consistent follow-through.
- Keep CRM usage, workflow discipline, and communication routines organized and up to date.
Minimum requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in one of these areas: agency recruiting, corporate recruiting for a construction business, or contract recruiting.
- A strong existing network in one or more of the following areas: commercial construction, industrial or manufacturing, data centers or mission-critical, multifamily, or residential construction.
- A track record of producing results and closing placements.
- High resilience, grit, and a competitive drive.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Very organized, disciplined, and self-directed work style.
- Comfort with a fully commission-based structure.
- Entrepreneurial motivation and a desire to earn at a high level.
Success metrics
Success in this role means managing and closing multiple searches consistently, targeting about 2 placements per month, while building a strong personal brand and professional network in construction. You will also be expected to use Hirewell’s platform effectively to increase production.
Compensation and terms
This opportunity is 100% commission-based. No base salary or stipend was stated. Earnings are tied directly to placement success and individual performance.
