Role overview
A well-established organisation is seeking a Process Automation Specialist to join its Digital team on a permanent basis in Sydney. This position is highly practical and focuses on both automation and process design. It will suit someone who can work closely with business teams and technical specialists, turning business needs into clear, build-ready requirements.
What you'll do
- Run discovery sessions and workshops to uncover automation opportunities and determine which ones should be prioritised.
- Document current workflows and design improved future-state processes before any development work starts.
- Prepare detailed deliverables such as process maps, requirements documents, and decision logs that support smooth technical execution.
- Serve as the connection point between business stakeholders and delivery teams right through to implementation and sign-off.
- Help shape the wider automation strategy and contribute to the delivery roadmap.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or Business Consulting.
- Practical experience delivering business process automation initiatives.
- Hands-on exposure to low-code automation tools such as Power Platform, Workato, Boomi, Pega, or comparable platforms.
- Strong capability in process mapping and modelling using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software.
