Architectural Designer (Vectorworks)

Position Overview

This is a contract opportunity for an Architectural Designer with Vectorworks experience. The work is fully remote and is expected to range from 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is set at $20 to $65 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Use architectural and CAD expertise to evaluate and produce design data in Vectorworks.
• Prepare, check, and mark up digital drawings, 3D models, and rendering work with a high level of precision.
• Use knowledge of layers, BIM, and CAD workflows to keep project files organized and handled efficiently.
• Share architectural process knowledge and industry standards to support AI model training.
• Provide clear written and spoken feedback to help improve AI system development.
• Work with the client’s team to make sure deliverables meet the required technical and design expectations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Vectorworks for 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering tasks.
• Ability to organize and maintain project layers within Vectorworks.
• Solid understanding of architectural basics, design principles, and CAD-based workflows.
• Familiarity with BIM concepts and standards at a basic level.
• Capability to independently build straightforward projects in Vectorworks.
