Role Overview

This US-remote Accounting Associate role supports the finance team with close activities, payables, reconciliations, audit preparation, and a range of day-to-day accounting tasks.

Key Duties

Support monthly close work, accounts payable processes, daily cash reconciliation, audit coordination, and other finance-related tasks as needed.
Complete month-end activities on schedule, including cash reconciliations, fixed asset updates, accrued expense entries, and credit card reconciliations.
Help prepare the weekly cash flow report.
Review and administer employee expense submissions.
Respond to payroll requests for information.
Handle cash transaction reconciliation, deposit customer checks, enter AP transactions, pay bills, and run daily AP/AR reports.
Partner with auditors by gathering and organizing requested support documents.
Assist in drafting company documentation.
Own AP administration and AP reconciliations.
Set up new customers in the accounting system.
Serve as a department contact for credit card administration, AP questions, and budgeting-related inquiries.

Requirements

Working knowledge of accounting principles and local GAAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.
