Zonal Demand Planning Executive - Central

Role overview

This position supports the central demand planning function by helping ensure smooth, timely execution of planning activities. It is an individual contributor role based in Uttar Pradesh and reports to the Demand Planning Manager.

Core context

• Assist the central demand planner in carrying out demand planning processes efficiently and on schedule.
• Own the upkeep of demand planning master data.
• Partner with sales teams to support the S&OP process, including collecting, organizing, and breaking down data as needed.
• Work closely with teams across IT, sales, and finance to keep the planning process running smoothly.
• Spend time in the market to better understand demand patterns and sales movements, and to identify the reasons behind MAPE and bias.
• Operate as a hands-on individual contributor rather than a people manager.
• Report directly to the Demand Planning Manager.

Responsibilities

• Track and support key planning metrics such as MAPE, forecast value add, and forecast accuracy.
• Contribute to the monthly S&OP cycle in coordination with sales and marketing teams.
• Manage demand planning systems and help improve the quality of monthly forecasts.
• Serve as the central point of contact for demand planning system master data creation and maintenance.
