About the Company

The employer is a U.S.-based cannabis business that manages 18 dispensaries across five states and is known for award-winning cultivation. The Ahmedabad team is being built to handle backend support work such as analytics, accounting, and marketing.

Role Overview

This position is for a full-stack web developer who can work across both client-side and server-side development. The role focuses on building engaging, scalable, and well-structured websites that deliver strong performance, a polished user experience, and modern responsive design.

Key Responsibilities

• Create fast, responsive, and easy-to-use websites based on UI/UX designs.
• Develop custom websites, landing pages, and interactive digital experiences.
• Work closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to deliver integrated web solutions.
• Improve site speed, search visibility, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers.
• Connect websites with APIs, third-party services, analytics, and marketing tools.
• Diagnose issues, maintain websites, and keep improving performance, security, and functionality.

Required Technical Strengths

• Solid command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
• Practical experience with React.js and Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, Elementor, WooCommerce, and site customization.
• Understanding of Node.js, REST APIs, and database basics such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git and GitHub in a modern development workflow.
• Good grasp of responsive design, accessibility, security, and cross-browser standards.
• Awareness of Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, website tuning, and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and manage development work from idea through deployment.
• Exposure to hosting setups, cPanel, domain handling, and deployment processes will be an added plus.
