The Role
This position is located at the Mildura Warehouse on Sandown Drive. Reporting to the Warehouse & Procurement Manager, the role exists to assist with warehouse activity, stock control and dispatch work across the business. It supports the prompt receipt, storage, picking and movement of goods, while keeping inventory records accurate and helping ensure equipment and spare parts are supplied to orchard and maintenance teams. The job combines warehouse handling, dispatch planning and inventory management, with a strong emphasis on availability, efficiency and cost control.
Key Duties
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including stock control, inventory accuracy, cycle counts and FIFO rotation.
- Keep inventory data up to date and record all stock transactions in the system.
- Create and manage purchase orders, track stock levels, and assist with supplier follow-up and repair coordination.
- Pick, pack, send, deliver and receive goods, while arranging freight and transport as needed.
- Make sure all materials are received, checked, stored, labelled and documented correctly.
- Operate forklifts safely and keep the warehouse tidy, structured and operating efficiently.
- Support orchard, maintenance and other internal teams with parts and logistics across multiple locations.
- Handle operational queries and provide assistance to satellite warehouses when required.
- Help improve processes by contributing to LEAN practices and suggesting better ways of working.
- Follow all safety, quality and operational requirements to maintain compliant and effective warehouse operations.
About You
You should bring practical warehouse or inventory experience, strong computer capability and the ability to work independently. A hands-on approach, sound judgement and the ability to collaborate well with others are important in this role. Experience in machinery maintenance systems is also valued.
Qualifications and Licences
- Warehouse or logistics qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- A current driver’s licence and forklift licence are required.
- An HR licence is an advantage, and there should be willingness to obtain an HR licence and any other relevant certifications if needed.

Experience Note
Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse, stores or inventory work. However, people with little or no direct experience may still be considered if they have the right mindset and a background in farming equipment.
