About the organisation

GIC is among the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, with more than 2,000 people working across 11 global offices. The firm invests in over 40 countries and spans multiple asset classes and business areas. Joining GIC means working alongside leading industry leaders and contributing to Singapore’s financial future as well as the communities in which the organisation invests worldwide.

Technology Group

The Technology Group powers a global business that runs around the clock. The team supports key functions across asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management, while delivering dependable, secure, and connected technology solutions. It also keeps the organisation informed about new and emerging technologies.

Enterprise and Data Technology

Enterprise & Data Technology develops and evolves the technology foundation behind enterprise and data capabilities. The group combines technology and data specialists to build platforms that support integration, analytics, and innovation. By aligning core strengths into one coordinated function, the team creates connected systems, improves access to data, and applies AI at the platform level to support better decision-making. Its modern, scalable, and secure technology environment helps the organisation work more intelligently and efficiently.

Role impact

In this position, you will contribute to building a strong enterprise data infrastructure and help drive a performance-focused approach to data products.

What you will do

  • Assess how multiple initiatives connect to the EDT roadmap, including dependencies between projects, so that issues and opportunities to lower delivery risk and complexity can be identified early.
  • Work proactively with senior business stakeholders to remain aligned on objectives, while partnering with engineering, product, and project teams to drive execution.
  • Define meaningful milestones to check progress against business goals, and manage conflicts across projects involving resources, timelines, priorities, or stakeholder impact by identifying root causes, evaluating options, and escalating to the right decision-maker or forum when needed.
  • Continuously improve delivery across several strategic programs by changing priorities, resequencing work, and repositioning projects to keep the department agile and focused on generating enterprise-wide business value.
  • Partner closely with the Director’s Office on change management.

What the organisation is looking for

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or an equivalent level of experience. A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in IT project or programme management, business analysis, project delivery, and/or product management is expected. The role also calls for proven experience leading complex projects and rolling out enterprise-level software solutions, along with a solid grasp of budgeting and business planning. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, interpersonal skills, and the confidence to work independently or as part of a team are important. The candidate should also be a clear communicator who can refine requirements in stages while maintaining alignment with business sponsors, stakeholders, and departmental goals.

Working style and culture

GIC encourages ambitious, agile, and diverse teams that are empowered to challenge boundaries, share ideas, and contribute meaningfully. The organisation is guided by its PRIME values: Prudence, Respect, Integrity, Merit, and Excellence.
