About the Role

K12 Techno Services is seeking a Theatre Teacher for Orchids The International School in Pune. The role is centered on building students’ confidence and performance abilities through theatre, drama, and stage-based learning.

What You Will Do

• Lead theatre and drama sessions for school students.
• Instruct learners in acting methods, voice control, and expressive body movement.
• Prepare students for stage shows, skits, and inter-school competitions.
• Design and direct school productions and cultural programs.
• Promote imagination, expression, collaboration, and participation.
• Create or adapt scripts and plays to suit student audiences.
• Track student development and share constructive feedback.
• Keep the classroom atmosphere positive, lively, and engaging.

Candidate Profile

• A diploma or bachelor’s qualification in Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related specialization is preferred.
• Applicants should have a solid understanding of acting and stage performance.
• Strong verbal communication and classroom handling skills are important.
• A creative, energetic, and student-friendly teaching style is expected.

Eligibility

Applicants with a Diploma in any specialization may apply. Candidates with a background in Theatre, Drama, or Performing Arts will be especially suitable.
