Telecom Business Systems Analyst

Role overview

This contract position is for a Telecom Business Systems Analyst based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The role is focused on analyzing and shaping business and system needs within a high-tech, customer-facing environment.

Core experience and technical background

The position calls for at least 5 years of professional software development experience, with Business Systems Analyst experience strongly preferred. Background in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods is expected, along with experience designing scalable distributed systems that use service-oriented architecture. Strong knowledge of UML modeling is required. Familiarity with SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban is an advantage.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Domain knowledge

Experience or familiarity with Connected Home products is preferred, especially in the areas of TV, Internet, Home Phone, and Smart Home Monitoring.

Education requirement

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
