Technician (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical)

Role Overview

The Mechanical/Electrical Technician is responsible for carrying out skilled and semi-skilled work related to installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment and instruments. The position also provides technical support to day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

• Carry out installation, upkeep, repair, and servicing tasks for electrical and mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Support operational teams with technical assistance whenever needed.
• Follow safety standards consistently and coordinate with other departments as required.
• Track and help maintain adequate stocks of mechanical and electrical spare parts for planned and upcoming work.

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of statutory rules, safety practices, and health requirements.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
• Basic knowledge of how to operate equipment.
• Fundamental skills in root cause analysis.

Education

A diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical certificate, is required.
