About the Role
Baja is seeking an IT Technical Support professional to join our Information Technology department. This role is crucial for maintaining and supporting our retail technology operations across various sites in Abha and Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems within our retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Point of Sale (POS) systems and associated peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
- Provide support for CCTV systems and essential network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Manage internet connectivity, liaising with service providers as needed.
- Offer technical assistance for desktop computers, laptops, and various business applications.
- Monitor and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and site-to-site connectivity.
- Assist with the setup of new store locations and the implementation of new systems.
- Conduct routine system maintenance, apply updates, and maintain accurate system documentation.
- Manage helpdesk tickets efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution of all IT issues.
Requirements
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of dedicated experience in IT Technical Support, specifically within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in supporting POS systems, CCTV platforms, and general networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and IT ticketing software.
- Effective communication abilities in both Arabic and English.
- Readiness to travel between different company locations as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.

This position requires the ability to travel between Abha and Khamis Mushait locations.
