Technical Lead - Collibra

Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced Technical Lead with strong Collibra expertise to help build and support enterprise data governance capabilities. The role is based in India and is limited to candidates open to working from the office in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, or Chennai. Interviews will be conducted virtually.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable solutions for data governance, metadata management, and data quality using Collibra DQ and related platform capabilities.
• Build, customize, and support BPMN 2.0 workflows that streamline stewardship, approval, and remediation activities.
• Create dependable integrations between Collibra and on-premise or cloud data platforms such as Azure Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and RDBMS systems through REST APIs.
• Work closely with data stewards, product owners, and IT teams to advance governance objectives and support AI-related initiatives.
• Investigate and fix Collibra functional or performance-related issues while ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements.

Experience and Technical Profile

The expected background is around 7 to 10 years of experience, with at least 3 to 5+ years focused specifically on Collibra administration, configuration, and development. Strong practical knowledge of Java and Groovy scripting is important for building API-based workflow and interface automation. Hands-on expertise with BPMN 2.0 tools such as Activiti or Camunda, along with RESTful integrations, is also required. A good grasp of Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, data lineage, and Data Quality concepts is essential.

Additional Requirements

Professionals with Collibra Ranger or Collibra Certified Developer credentials are preferred, and such certifications are often expected for leadership-level positions.
