Technical Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

About the Role

We are hiring a skilled Technical Engineer with solid experience in interior fit-out works, joinery, and aluminum systems. The role supports projects across the full lifecycle, from design development through site execution and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits, surveys, and accurate measurements.
• Develop and check shop drawings, production drawings, and installation details.
• Study project drawings, technical specifications, and on-site conditions to ensure alignment.
• Liaise with designers, estimators, suppliers, production staff, and installation crews to keep work on track.
• Prepare material take-offs and the required technical paperwork.
• Track site progress and confirm that work follows approved drawings and quality expectations.
• Identify and solve technical or site-related issues during execution.
• Compile as-built drawings and completion/handover documents.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or another relevant discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, and aluminum systems.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience creating shop drawings and production drawings.
• Sound understanding of joinery items such as custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, wall cladding, flooring, ceilings, and interior finishes.
• Good knowledge of aluminum systems, including windows, doors, sliding and folding systems, curtain walls, pergolas, and glazing.
• Strong technical judgment, coordination ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
• A valid Qatar driving licence will be considered an advantage.
