The platform currently supports the hospitality sector, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and multi-location service businesses, through a set of intelligent products such as hotel operations software, AI-based review management, multi-channel OTA distribution and commission auditing, advertising optimization, image enhancement, and revenue intelligence.
Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced System Architect for a full-time technology role based in Pune with a remote or on-site work arrangement in India. This position serves as the technical anchor for system design and integration, with responsibility for building scalable, high-performance, multi-system environments. The role is aligned to global working hours and is well suited to professionals comfortable working in fast-paced, internationally connected settings.
Department, Schedule, and Compensation
Department: Technology / Engineering
Work timing: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST
Weekly schedule: Monday to Saturday, which totals 6 working days per week
Salary range: INR 12 LPA to 18 LPA, depending on experience and skill level
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will shape the architecture of complex multi-system environments and ensure that software, network, and cloud layers work together effectively.
- Design and maintain end-to-end architecture for large-scale multi-system IT landscapes.
- Translate business and product needs into technical blueprints that support scalability and high availability.
- Set architectural principles, standards, and reusable design patterns across the organization.
- Create and own architecture roadmaps that align with both near-term delivery goals and longer-term business objectives.
- Plan and govern integration approaches across internal systems, platforms, and external services.
- Define interfaces, APIs, communication methods, and protocols between system components.
- Resolve challenges related to cross-system dependencies, latency, and data integrity.
- Guide development, DevOps, and QA teams with technical direction and mentorship.
- Lead architecture reviews and design discussions to support strong engineering decisions.
- Support estimation, feasibility review, and technical risk assessment for bids, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Act as a key technical contact for stakeholders, customers, and vendor partners.
- Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and security across connected systems.
- Set and enforce SLA and SLO targets, including uptime and performance expectations.
- Design disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity strategies.
- Research emerging tools, technologies, and frameworks that can create business value.
- Stay up to date on cloud, containerization, AI/ML integration, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture trends.
- Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and improve existing platforms.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, technical specifications, and integration maps.
- Ensure solutions follow regulatory, security, and organizational standards such as ISO, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Participate in system safety analysis, including DFMEA and FTA, wherever relevant.
- Work closely with Product, Project Management, DevOps, and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate with distributed teams in a global delivery environment.
- Explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of total IT experience, including 3 to 5 years in a System Architect or Senior Solutions Architect position.
- Hands-on background in designing and delivering complex enterprise architectures spanning multiple systems.
- Strong implementation experience with REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, or a similar methodology.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including architecture and deployment work.
- Experience with microservices, SOA, API gateways, ESB tools, MuleSoft, or similar middleware.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, LDAP, SSO, and zero-trust security concepts.
- Ability to create architecture documentation using tools such as UML, ArchiMate, Lucidchart, or draw.io.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, or PMP.
- Experience with BSS/OSS systems, telecom-grade environments, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, or automotive/embedded systems is an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to US or global time-zone aligned delivery models is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and lead under pressure in deadline-driven settings.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder handling, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with changing priorities and rapidly evolving technologies.
Other Details
This is a night-shift position aligned to global business hours. The company expects the selected professional to work in a high-accountability, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Graduation is not mandatory for applicants.
Compensation & Benefits
CTC is offered in the range of INR 12 LPA to 18 LPA based on experience and skill set.
Work timing: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST, aligned with US/global business hours.
Work week: Monday to Saturday, totaling 6 days per week.
