Coaching Pathways

• In-House Coach Pathway: Designed for new coaches who want to begin with guided training and mentorship.
• Certified Coach Opportunities: For coaches holding recognised swimming coaching certifications and looking for supported placements.
• NROC Coach Opportunities: For qualified coaches who want broader coaching opportunities and student allocations.
• Coach Partner Arrangement: Best for experienced coaches who prefer flexibility and referral-based support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons in a safe and professional manner.
• Keep students protected and supervised throughout lesson time.
• Record attendance and monitor lesson progress.
• Use the organisation’s teaching approach and follow lesson plans provided.
• Join training sessions or meetings from time to time when needed.

Requirements

• For the In-House Coach pathway, the candidate should be able to swim at least two of the four core strokes: breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, and butterfly.
• Comfortable working with both children and adults.
• Able to work in outdoor and pool environments.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Dependable, self-directed, proactive, and responsible.
• Preference for candidates who can commit for the long term.

Schedule

Work arrangements are flexible and may include mornings, weekdays, and weekends. The role is suitable for students as well as working professionals, and it is positioned as a side-income friendly opportunity.
