Role Overview

The Supply Chain Transportation Analyst will play an important role in improving transportation and logistics performance. This position focuses on analyzing data, identifying operational issues, building models, tracking KPIs, and working with internal and external partners to make supply chain processes more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Review current transportation and logistics workflows, identify areas for improvement, and help design and implement changes that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Create and apply models that compare transportation scenarios and measure their effect on cost, optimization, and overall performance.
• Study transportation data to spot trends, recurring issues, delays, inefficiencies, and disruptions in operations.
• Evaluate transportation spend, support carrier pricing analysis, and uncover opportunities to reduce costs and improve route efficiency.
• Monitor transportation and logistics KPIs, including accuracy, efficiency, and on-time-in-full shipping performance across teams.
• Support and manage a gamification initiative aimed at improving visibility into performance and encouraging stronger team results.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and outside stakeholders to keep supply chain activities aligned and coordinated.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Background in supply chain operations and/or data analytics, especially in transportation, logistics, and process improvement.
• Strong ability to analyze data using relevant tools.
• Experience tracking KPIs and monitoring performance metrics.
• Good problem-solving ability and close attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.
• Exposure to automation tools and methods is considered an advantage.
• Experience with Acumatica ERP is a plus.
• Experience with Omni is a plus.
