About the Role
Mercury is seeking a SAP SuccessFactors Analyst to join its Group IT SAP team at the company’s Ballycoolin, Dublin headquarters. The role focuses on keeping the HR technology landscape configured effectively, supported reliably, and continuously improved to match changing business requirements. It also contributes to Mercury’s wider digital transformation efforts within HR.

Role Scope
The SuccessFactors Analyst will work as part of the SAP team, which includes specialists across SAP FICO, MM, SD, payroll, and other non-SAP areas. The team supports multiple departments and business units by identifying, selecting, and delivering technology-led improvements.
Responsibilities
- Set up, support, and maintain SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Learning, Recruiting, and Compensation.
- Keep the platform stable and ensure it continues to match business needs.
- Investigate user problems and provide effective fixes.
- Protect data accuracy and refine configurations for day-to-day use.
- Support data replication and system integration between SuccessFactors and other enterprise platforms.
- Work closely with HR and IT teams to align system functionality with broader organisational objectives.
- Take part in cross-functional initiatives that improve HR processes.
- Spot opportunities to enhance the system and working methods.
- Stay up to date with SAP SuccessFactors releases, updates, and best practices.
- Support testing and validation activities during release cycles.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Ability to configure systems, support users, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience working with HRIS integration tools and data flows.
- Comfort working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and a focus on improving processes.
- MS Access knowledge would be an advantage.
- Prior exposure to time and attendance and SAP payroll would be beneficial.
- Experience on a SuccessFactors implementation project is preferred.
- Any familiarity with S/4 would be an added plus, though it is not essential.
