Role Overview

Circle K is hiring for a Store Assistant (Bonused) position at Store 2705582, located at 2916 Washington Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30909. This role is suited to someone who enjoys a busy, energetic retail setting and is interested in building a path in store leadership. The schedule calls for flexible availability and onsite presence.

What You’ll Do

In this position, you’ll support the Store Manager in running day-to-day station store operations. The job involves helping with staffing, supervising team members, coordinating daily work, managing books and records, and keeping merchandise organized and well presented. You’ll also be expected to help maintain service standards and deliver quick, courteous customer support.

You’ll play a part in the food program as well, making sure standards are followed and the customer experience stays consistent. The role calls for strong urgency, patience, and leadership, along with regular and reliable onsite attendance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading people, hiring and onboarding staff, assigning work, and following up to ensure tasks are completed. You should be able to plan ahead, stay organized, explain ideas clearly, and support others through coaching and motivation. Comfort with cash handling, bookkeeping, problem solving, customer advocacy, and safety awareness will also help you succeed.

Preferred Background

Previous experience in retail is an advantage, as is prior exposure to supervisory or management work. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, or hiring is helpful, and food-handling experience is also valued. A high school or college degree is considered a plus.

Physical Demands

This job includes physical activity throughout the shift. You may need to stand or walk for up to 8 hours, lift or carry up to 30 pounds from the ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally move up to 60 pounds from the ground to waist height. The role can also involve pushing or pulling with up to 20 pounds of force, bending at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift, and using your hands for grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects. Eye-hand coordination is important, and ladder use may be required to store or retrieve materials and to place or remove signs.
