Job purpose
This role sits within the sales function and is focused on strengthening product visibility across outlets. The merchandiser helps ensure strong in-store execution, supports promotional activity when needed, and keeps the pre-seller informed about market developments and selling opportunities.
Key duties
The position involves visiting assigned outlets according to the daily route plan, building product presence across shelves and other display areas, and making sure merchandising standards are followed. It also includes placing point-of-sale material where relevant, maintaining product rotation using FIFO, removing damaged or sub-standard items, and keeping stock looking fresh and well presented.
When required, the merchandiser may also support sampling or redemption campaigns, and may take part in in-store promotions. The role requires monitoring competitor activity, reporting any differences from agreed outlet terms, and sharing daily activity updates with the supervisor.
Performance focus
Success in this role is measured through execution standards, enforcement of LTA, and adherence to the journey plan.

The merchandiser is expected to maintain a neat personal presentation and behave professionally in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.
