Description de l'emploi
Role Overview
This position is for a senior-level tool design engineer based in Faridabad for a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on advanced tool design work using NX/AutoCAD, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal development, press tools, and progressive die design.
Core Work
- Create and refine 2D and 3D tool designs using NX and AutoCAD.
- Work on sheet metal development, including blank development and strip layout planning.
- Carry out press tool calculations, material selection, and cost estimation for tooling.
- Design and support progressive tools and die solutions.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, wire cut EDM, hardening processes, and tool room operations.
- Understanding of quality standards, GD&T, fits, and tolerances.
- Ability to prepare BOMs as part of the design package.
Eligibility
Applicants should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a vocational/engineering qualification, with relevant backgrounds such as Production Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering. B.Tech/B.E. candidates from Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering are also considered.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is INR 3,50,000 to INR 4,75,000 per year.
