About the Role
The Specialist - Data Management and Operations role is designed to strengthen the organization’s data practices. In this position, you will help implement and improve data management processes, support governance and quality efforts, manage metadata, and contribute to analytics work while staying aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining data quality so that information remains accurate, complete, consistent, and dependable.
- Track data across its full lifecycle, from creation and storage to use, archiving, and deletion, in line with retention requirements.
- Build and sustain metadata repositories that make data easier to find, understand, and use.
- Support the effective capture, management, and use of data from relevant sources.
- Analyze data and turn findings into insights that support informed decision-making.
- Spot data quality gaps and help drive corrective actions that improve integrity and usability.
- Create reports and dashboards to measure the impact of data management and governance efforts.
- Help implement governance frameworks, standards, policies, and procedures related to data.
- Work with stakeholders to encourage consistent and effective data management practices across the business.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a similar discipline.
- Two to three years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, data analytics, or a closely related area.
- Prior exposure to enterprise-level data management practices is an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
