Role overview
As a Solution Architect focused on GenAI, you will partner with sales and cross-functional teams to shape solution strategy, localize offerings for the Southeast Asia market, and help enterprise clients adopt BytePlus technologies. The role combines technical depth, solution consulting, and commercial acumen to support pre-sales, proof-of-concept delivery, and customer expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the sales organization to define the GenAI and data analytics solution approach and develop success stories for the Singapore market.
- Adapt GenAI and data analytics solutions for Southeast Asia and tailor the value proposition to local market requirements.
- Use technical knowledge and sales skills to guide qualification through demonstrations, presentations, architecture design discussions, and technical workshops.
- Own RFPs, RFIs, and hands-on POCs end to end, coordinating across stakeholders and working to turn successful POCs into signed contracts.
- Act as a trusted advisor for both internal teams and external customers by bringing thought leadership, industry insight, and broad technical understanding of BytePlus offerings.
- Work with solution, product, strategy, and R&D teams to shape product direction using regional market feedback.
- Create or refine tools and processes that make highly customized technical POCs easier to deliver at scale.
- Present to senior business and technical stakeholders, including C-suite audiences, and clearly communicate both business value and technical value.
- Drive adoption, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities for existing customers using ByteDance solutions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in AI, data analytics, or an IT consulting solution / pre-sales role.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability, demonstrated through discussion of prior technical projects during interview rounds.
- Exposure to GenAI, public cloud, or edge network/CDN products is preferred.
- Experience working with large enterprise clients in sectors such as retail, media, entertainment, or gaming is preferred.
- Basic to advanced developer skills are considered an advantage.
