Role Overview
This position is focused on driving sales for software solutions and enterprise systems across government, semi-government, and private sector clients. The selected candidate will be expected to generate business, nurture long-term client partnerships, manage opportunities end to end, and help the organization meet its revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Source and develop fresh business prospects for the company’s software and enterprise offerings.
- Maintain productive, long-term relationships with government bodies, organizations, and potential clients.
- Gather customer needs and work with the Pre-Sales function to shape appropriate solution proposals.
- Deliver sales presentations and showcase the company’s products and services to prospects.
- Draft commercial quotations and proposals, then track them through follow-up.
- Keep an eye on public and private tenders, projects, and other business leads.
- Handle opportunities across the full sales process, from lead generation through award and final closure.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiate terms to reach beneficial agreements.
- Meet assigned sales objectives and share regular updates on pipeline and activity status.
- Work closely with technical and implementation teams to support a seamless handover from sales to delivery.
- Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and similar industry forums.
- Track market developments, client demands, and competitor actions to spot new growth avenues.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience selling software, technology, or enterprise solutions.
- Demonstrated success in selling enterprise systems, government-focused solutions, or digital transformation offerings.
- Solid grasp of the full sales lifecycle, including lead creation and deal finalization.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, presentations, and relationship management.
- Ability to work fluently in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Prior exposure to selling solutions to government clients in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Understanding of government procurement, tendering, and project acquisition processes is an advantage.
- A well-established professional network within government or large enterprise organizations is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of ERP, administrative communication systems, electronic archiving and document management, meetings and committees management, facility management, and fleet management solutions is preferred.
- Ability to produce polished commercial proposals and presentations.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management tools is desirable.
