About the Role

This traineeship is intended for aspiring software engineers who want to build a career at the intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise automation. The programme provides practical exposure to the ServiceNow platform while applying that learning to LLM and generative AI integrations.

You will work in a mentoring-focused team and help develop intelligent tools that automate service requests, condense incident details, and improve self-service experiences. This position suits candidates with a solid technical base and a strong appetite for learning complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Build a working understanding of ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, GlideScript, and core ITSM applications.
• Create and test basic business rules, client scripts, and reusable utility functions while following coding standards and good development practices.
• Use ServiceNow Integration Hub and REST-based APIs to connect the platform with outside services, especially LLM providers.
• Support feature testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for enhancements across the ServiceNow and AI environment.
• Contribute actively in an Agile/Scrum setup, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and collaborative team work.
• Work closely with community and stakeholders through a team-oriented approach.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or another technical or quantitative discipline.
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript or Python, gained through study or projects.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Genuine interest in learning ServiceNow and emerging AI/LLM technologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability through coursework, projects, or similar experience.
• Basic familiarity with SQL and the way web services communicate using REST and JSON.
