Software Developer - New Graduate - 12 Month Contract

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain software solutions using C# or ASP.NET.
• Investigate and correct defects in C# or ASP.NET applications.
• Check software behavior and confirm that functionality meets expectations.
• Support the creation of test tools and automation solutions.
• Help with production support and software validation activities.
• Work closely with an experienced engineering group to review and contribute to validation-related design work.
• Implement software and hardware-based solutions, including purchasing, integrating, qualifying, and installing hardware used for electronics manufacturing testing.
• Help prepare and revise work instructions.
• Support process improvements and find ways to make development work more efficient.

What You Need

• A degree completed within the last 12 months in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of these technologies: C#, ASP.NET, or MS SQL.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Exposure to instrumentation such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters is considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.
• Some familiarity with manufacturing systems is an added benefit.
• Prior involvement in engineering project development or support.
• Strong ownership, persistence, and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Ability to adjust quickly to new tools, technologies, and changing priorities.
• Comfort working in a busy, fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work on-site in Concord, Ontario three days per week.

Compensation

The hourly pay is based on experience and is expected to fall between CAD 35 and CAD 40.

Additional Information
