Role overview

Our client is a prominent household name in New Zealand retail, operating a department store in East Tamaki, Auckland. They are seeking a social media professional to support the creation and delivery of campaigns that build brand visibility and encourage audience interaction across multiple channels.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the planning and rollout of engaging social media campaigns.
• Help manage always-on content activity across social platforms.
• Create and develop social and digital content that grows engagement and brand awareness.
• Work on integrated campaigns alongside the wider marketing team.
• Contribute to influencer-led activity where relevant; prior influencer marketing experience is a plus.
• Report into the Social Media Lead and focus on the Home & Living range.
• Operate in a busy environment handling several campaigns at once.

What they’re looking for

You should bring at least 2 years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, content, or a closely related field. A solid understanding of major social platforms, current trends, content best practices, and how to engage audiences is essential. You’ll also need hands-on experience producing compelling content that supports engagement and brand growth.
