Role Summary
This position focuses on building and supporting Snowflake-based data platforms, with a strong emphasis on SQL, DBT, data warehousing, and cloud environments.
Must-Have Experience
- Hands-on expertise in Snowflake and SQL for data manipulation and engineering work.
- Strong command over Snowflake architecture and SQL development.
- Ability to work with data architecture, governance, quality standards, and security controls to support compliance and safeguard sensitive data.
- Proven background in designing, owning, and delivering Snowflake data platforms based on client requirements.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DBT.
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and experience building and maintaining data warehouses.
- Working knowledge of ETL workflows, including extracting data from multiple sources, transforming it into usable formats, and loading it into Snowflake.
Good-to-Have
- Strong grasp of data modeling concepts and techniques for building efficient, scalable models.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git for collaboration and code management.
