In this position, you will take charge of the shift and keep restaurant operations running smoothly from start to finish. The role calls for a practical, people-focused leader who can guide the team, maintain standards, and help deliver a strong customer experience in a busy environment.

What you will do

• Take the lead and coordinate team members throughout the shift.
• Monitor performance, offering coaching, feedback and day-to-day support.
• Make sure food quality, service excellence, safety and cleanliness standards are upheld consistently.
• Respond to customer questions and handle concerns in a calm, professional way.
• Assist with opening and closing duties when required.
• Track stock levels and support basic inventory management.
• Help with cash handling, point-of-sale processes and simple reconciliations.
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and company policy requirements.
• Keep management updated on how the shift is progressing.

Experience and skills

• Prior supervisory experience in hospitality, quick service restaurants or retail.
• Confident leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving ability.
• Capability to train, coach and encourage team members.
• Good working knowledge of food safety, customer service and operational standards.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
