Role Summary
The organization is looking for a Senior Oracle EBS Apps DBA Consultant to provide hands-on administration and advisory support for Oracle E-Business Suite environments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an onsite position in the telecommunications industry.
Experience and Notice Period
Candidates should bring at least 8 years of relevant experience. The expected joining window is immediate to 15 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Oracle EBS Apps DBA administration, operational support, and technical guidance.
- Partner with customer and internal IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical delivery.
- Handle installations, cloning activities, patching, version upgrades, migrations, and overall environment administration.
- Track system health, investigate issues, and maintain high availability across platforms.
- Carry out database upkeep, backup and recovery procedures, and performance optimization work.
- Support several Oracle Apps DBA assignments while keeping technical records and documentation up to date.
Required Background
- Minimum 8 years of experience working as an Oracle EBS Apps DBA.
- Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite administration and Oracle Database environments.
- Practical experience with patching, cloning, upgrades, migrations, and issue resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with stakeholder handling ability.
- Prior experience in customer-facing onsite support setups.
- Ability to support large enterprise Oracle EBS landscapes.
Additional Information
Experience in the telecommunications sector is considered an advantage.
