Description de l'emploi
About the company
Inca Digital is a veteran-owned data and intelligence business focused on digital-asset analytics for exchanges, financial institutions, regulators, and blockchain ecosystems. Its platform brings together blockchain data, exchange activity, social signals, and market information to help teams understand crypto markets, monitor blockchain transactions, track liquidity changes, and identify illicit-finance risks. The company supports ecosystem oversight, market surveillance, and intelligence work aimed at improving transparency and decision-making.
The organization works in a fast-moving, lean, global, and remote setup. It follows an asynchronous-first style, keeps meetings to a minimum, and values open discussion and reasoning over hierarchy. You would collaborate with specialists such as intelligence analysts, defense veterans, data engineers, quant researchers, linguists, and others.
Role overview
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will design and build high-performance user interfaces that turn complex blockchain and financial datasets into clear, actionable intelligence. The role centers on creating streaming, data-intensive dashboards for global regulators and financial institutions, with a strong focus on accuracy, speed, and scalability.
You will work in a remote, high-autonomy environment with cross-functional teams, using a modern React and Next.js stack to solve challenging UI and data-delivery problems.
Key responsibilities
- Create responsive and efficient interfaces for both internal tools and customer-facing products.
- Deliver smooth user experiences by keeping pages fast, interactions fluid, and navigation intuitive across web applications.
- Partner with the team to define, apply, and maintain consistent UI/UX standards across the product ecosystem.
- Improve frontend performance for real-time views, including live streaming and continuously updating dashboards.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in frontend engineering.
- Strong ability to build modern web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Good working knowledge of the TanStack ecosystem, especially Query and Table, and component libraries such as Material UI or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management approaches, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with HTTP-based communication methods, including HTTP/2, streaming APIs, and real-time technologies such as WebSockets or SSE.
- Experience building data-heavy or analytics-focused dashboards is considered a strong advantage.
- Employment is subject to a successful background check.
Nice to have
- Exposure to backend technologies such as Python frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask, or the Go language.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or analytical databases such as ClickHouse from a frontend integration standpoint.
- Experience consuming message queues and event-driven systems such as AWS SQS/SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Prior work with streaming or event-driven APIs.
- Understanding of how to deploy frontend applications in cloud environments, especially AWS.
- Awareness of observability, logging, and monitoring tools as they relate to frontend systems.
Benefits
- Fully remote, high-trust culture that emphasizes results and impact over hours worked.
- Competitive pay along with a healthcare stipend.
- Childcare stipends and dedicated employee assistance resources.
- Opportunity to work on technology at the intersection of national security and digital assets.
Inclusion and equal opportunity
Inca Digital is committed to diverse perspectives across race, gender, neurodivergence, and veteran status to solve complex data problems. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without discrimination based on protected characteristics, including disability or national origin.
