Description de l'emploi
Overview
The Quantum Research Center at the Technology Innovation Institute is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to help build the next generation of quantum sensing technology. This is a hands-on research and development role focused on creating market-ready quantum sensors with meaningful use in both global and local high-tech environments.
The team is young and fast-moving, with strong infrastructure and resources already in place. The organization also notes that compensation is internationally and locally competitive, and that relocation support plus social and family assistance are available.
Key Activities
- Develop and prototype electrical subsystems and components for advanced sensing platforms across full-cycle, practical R&D work.
- Work side by side with researchers and engineers to convert scientific and technical needs into electronic design requirements.
- Oversee work handled by external development partners.
- Take part in both laboratory-based and field testing.
- Produce clear, detailed, and high-quality technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to solve problems independently and creatively.
- Strong system-level perspective with the capacity to assess subsystems and components.
- Practical experience in prototyping, integration, and validation/testing workflows.
- Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Solid capability in analog signal acquisition, processing, and control.
- Experience with digital signal acquisition, processing, and control.
- Capability in designing precise low-noise signal circuits.
- Familiarity with EMC and EMI standards, as well as mitigation methods.
- Experience with high-speed digital signals is valuable; RF exposure and FPGA programming are considered advantages.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience is expected, ideally in sensing-related research and development.
