Role overview
Passport Brand Design, part of WPP, is a growing brand partner with offices in Newport Beach, New York, Toronto, and Montréal. The team supports global businesses with brand strategy, evergreen and seasonal campaigns, and creative work across multiple touchpoints. Its approach starts with defining a clear brand position and purpose, then shaping that into a strong creative idea that helps align stakeholders and support integrated marketing.
The company is seeking a highly creative Senior Designer to join the team in New York. This person will create visually compelling solutions that strengthen client brands and contribute to business outcomes, working closely with creative colleagues, clients, and senior leaders. The role focuses on creative work for a major client in the nicotine category.

Responsibilities
- Develop original, high-impact design concepts that support product and brand direction.
- Guide and support junior designers while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
- Partner with the creative team to generate ideas and explore fresh approaches for client work.
- Handle projects independently from initial concept through final delivery while meeting deadlines.
- Confidently present creative ideas to internal teams and clients.
- Keep up with current design trends, digital best practices, and industry developments.
- Research competitors and audience behavior to shape more effective creative decisions.
- Help maintain a positive, collaborative agency culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a creative design role, ideally in an agency environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign work and solid command of design principles, typography, color, and visual communication.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting.
- Positive, proactive, and results-driven attitude.
Compensation and benefits
The posted base salary range for this position is USD 60,000 to USD 140,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is offered.
Work model
