Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for a Scrum Master supporting Agile delivery for one or more assigned teams. The role is based in Dallas, Texas and is structured as a 6-month contract with no C2C arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Agile execution for assigned teams while working under the direction of the Senior Scrum Master Lead.
  • Run team-level Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
  • Keep team boards and delivery records up to date, including Jira storyboards and sprint backlogs, so progress is tracked accurately.
  • Assist with sprint forecasting, team capacity planning, and backlog readiness.
  • Identify, track, and escalate blockers, risks, and dependencies to the Senior Scrum Master Lead, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Help monitor basic delivery metrics and contribute to status reporting.
  • Encourage Agile practices, support consistent team working agreements, and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop productive working relationships with IT colleagues and business stakeholders.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum fundamentals and Agile principles.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to surface issues and risks early.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Scrum Master certification is considered an advantage.
