Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and handle faxed requests to arrange outpatient testing appointments
• Carry out pre-registration for scheduled patients and confirm that a valid provider order is in place
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the scheduling process
• Work with healthcare providers to coordinate patient appointments efficiently
• Keep patient records and scheduling details accurate and up to date

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior experience in radiology scheduling or patient access
• Working knowledge of insurance payors, including commercial, government, and third-party plans
• Strong compassion and a genuine commitment to safe, high-quality patient care
• Healthcare office experience, along with familiarity with medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 coding concepts
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working remotely with limited supervision
• Strong time management and multitasking ability
• Exposure to healthcare scheduling software or systems
