Role overview
The company is hiring a Sales Development Representative for its Bangalore office. This position is centered on creating new business opportunities in the US market through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
What you will do
- Prospect for potential customers in the US market using outbound channels.
- Make cold calls and send targeted email outreach to generate interest.
- Use LinkedIn to engage prospects and support lead generation efforts.
- Work with the founders to uncover customer needs and qualify opportunities.
- Run discovery conversations and product demonstrations for prospects.
- Maintain follow-ups and help progress leads through the sales funnel.
- Track sales activity, pipeline movement, and CRM updates.
What the role requires
- 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, SDR, business development, or outbound selling.
- Prior exposure to selling to customers in the US is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
- Ability to lead discovery calls and present product demos with confidence.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and objection-handling abilities.
- Comfort working with sales targets, pipeline metrics, and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work in a fast-moving startup setup.
- Must be based in Bangalore and willing to work from the HSR Layout office during US business hours.
Location
This is an onsite role in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, with work from the HSR Layout office aligned to US working hours.
Compensation
Pay will be as per industry standards.
