About the role
TraceGains, part of a Veralto business unit, develops connected software and network solutions that help consumer brands improve innovation, quality, and compliance. The company’s platform is designed to reduce supply-chain risk, accelerate internal processes, and give customers better control over their data. The organization values collaboration, diversity, and inclusion, and encourages applicants from all backgrounds.
As a Sales Development Representative for the DACH region, you will report to the Market Development Manager EU and contribute to TraceGains’ expansion across Europe by creating strong first-touch relationships with prospective customers. The focus of the role is not limited to generating leads; it also involves understanding customer pain points, influencing market conversations, and helping build durable relationships in a fast-changing industry.
This is a remote role within EMEA, with a preference for candidates located in Germany, Austria, the UK, or Ireland.
What you will do
- Research target markets in a structured way to uncover new business opportunities, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Demandbase.
- Run personalized outbound campaigns built around specific accounts and prospects.
- Schedule and qualify meetings that can develop into a meaningful pipeline and long-term customer value.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to sharpen messaging and campaign execution.
- Represent TraceGains at events and webinars as a brand ambassador for the DACH market.
- Build deep knowledge of the industry and product so you can confidently engage stakeholders from Quality, R&D, Procurement, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
- Contribute experience and insight related to account-based marketing campaigns.
What you need
- At least 2 years of experience in MDR/SDR, B2B sales, or marketing, ideally in SaaS or the CPG/food industry.
- German at native or business-fluent level, plus strong English communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and winning new customers.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and Outreach.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the DACH region and internationally, roughly 1 to 3 days per month.
What the company offers
You will join a team that values ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Learning happens through practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to modern B2B methods. Success is shared, achievements are recognized, and challenges are handled together. You will have autonomy to make an impact while being supported by people who care about your growth.
